Radio Police Automaton!

There is always a screen full of anatomical images on my desktop (and I clear them out daily!). I never know which ones to feature.

I absolutely love this model. Someone please tell me I could justify this as a neuroscience study aid.

I don’t know about you, but when I think of rabbits, the first thing that comes to mind is bulging biceps and pecs. And washboard abs. Rabbits with washboard abs.

I’ve now had a number of (nonconsecutive) chuckles at the phrase “raging needs.” I have to start using it every day life. “Please give me some chocolate…I have raging needs.”

And as long as we’re on the topic of sexy ladies…how about these underthings? Ooh…sky high white acetate with insects!

I find bats in the dress more appealing than ants in the pants.

I don’t know the origins of this, but some things are probably better left unexplored (yes, that’s a monkey man).

If I were ever to send a Thanksgiving card…
Rapture Roundup

I thought I’d do something clever to celebrate The Rapture here. Then I realized this is the internet. People have already been flooding the web with jokes and memes.

Everyone’s probably sick of it already. This is a shame because The Rapture creates a breed of material that is both theologically AND artistically appalling. It’s about as much fun as you can have while horrified by humanity.

An elegant lady knows that one must always match her toilet paper with her evening gown.

When I attempted to make a shoofly pie and had an accident that propelled hot molasses over every surface of my kitchen (ceilings included), I wish I could say it was for a justifiable reason…like a donkey sneaking up on me.

One must pause and think “Just because we CAN, does it mean we SHOULD?”

I agree that music can be a fantastic and enriching part of life from a very young age, but I’m not sure it should be documented in exactly this fashion.

I know one of my favorite kitties would love to levitate. He’s into ceilings. I’m not thinking of making the little hat for him or anything…nope…not at all…

Pimp My Ride: Jesus Edition, Circa 1975

I actually saw this in a parking lot today.

I have no personal affiliation with Jesus, aside from thinking that he was probably a really great guy…with some pretty frightening fanatical followers. But this vehicle makes me happy to be alive. Have you seen anything better than a Jesus Pimpmobile today?

Every year it seems a new site (or a few) pop up to honor the profoundly disturbing characteristics of rabbit mascots. This year, I bring you a few favorites from Sketchy Bunnies.

This lovely lady-bunny with the Tammy Faye eyes is destined for a makeup contract. Lashes so lush they turn the WHOLE EYE black!

At least this one avoided SOME of the whites of her eyes in makeup application.

Ideally, one’s makeup look should be balanced…

Oh come on…this just looks alien. Costume designers, please cease all attempts at rabbit eye makeup.

There is safety in numbers…

Right?

I didn’t know bunnies grew five o’clock shadows and could look like a disgruntled creepy uncle.

I’m not sure if this one “counts” since it’s intentionally evil, but I think the evil is well executed.

Christmas came early for me this year, in the form of a truly awesome series of collector’s edition postcards from Wind Up Dreams and Vinyl Nightmares.

I think I’m going to have them framed because I doubt I could actually part with them and send them off as regular postcards.
