Stephane Halleux’s sculptures feel like retrofuturistic illustrations come to life.
I know these will be a hit with the steampunk crowd (I may have mentioned some of my conflicting feelings about that term before, so it’s not one I use often).
The oddly proportioned vehicles and chairs are splendid…

The out of proportion cars remind me of the vehicle the main character used in the movie “Despicable Me.”
I didn’t see Despicable Me. Was it any good? Now that you mention it, the aesthetics do see similar.
Yes, it a fun an entertaining movie! Well, worth the 90 minutes of life spent.
I don’t know the resort but here’s a link:Temperatures will be aruond 30-45 degrees. The Moisture will be VERY high as it normally rains once a day (from a few minutes till an hour). It gets dry very fast after the rain but you will feel as if you were in a big Humidor for Cigars (Humidors are nothing else than a box to keep the Cigars in Cuban climate). But anyways for bathing holidays and going into a resort the weather will be great!Have fun!
Simply amazing!

Yeah, I entertained myself for quite a while in those galleries!
I don’t know….there’s something sinister & disturbing about these sculptures
I agree…which is probably why I like them so much. ๐
