Halloween Countdown: Desktop Treat Bag 10/25
This little baby buggy tends to circulate every year on various sites. Awww…precious.

I’d like to see real photos of these:

A lovely sculpture by Kate MacDowell:

Ugh…there were always the dreaded houses that dispensed awful Brach’s candy when I was a kid. No one even wanted to trade this stuff.

And arguably even worse…

(I’m not anti-raisin, but this is HALLOWEEN…who wants to gather typical lunchbox fare?)
Definitely an inspirational image for awesome kitschy decoration:

Best passive-aggressive note card ever:

This is either pretty great, or a sad sign made by a dyslexic man named Brian:

Hang on while I hyperventilate because this collection is so fantastic (wish I had the source!):

Not intended for Halloween…but amazing:

Also unrelated, but this octopus looks monstrously friendly. He’s smiling. At you.

Brach’s candy always brings a smile to my face

Due to nostalgia, or because you enjoy eating it?

I love that is says “Fewer tricks when you treat ‘em with raisins”. I’m pretty sure handing out raisins instead of candy is a sure fire way to get “tricks” played on your house.

Absolutely. How ’bout some eggs to go with those raisins, eh? They taste delicious when scraped off the side of the house.

It’s worth noting that Brains is the local brewery in Cardiff, UK. The brewery itself is prominently marked as such, as can be seen in http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3070/2441865520_bb4bde6ab8.jpg
This leads to such delightful signs on bridges and the like as this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/lazzo13/5837513449/

HA! I want the passive-aggressive notecard so badly!!! I don’t really know who I’d send it to; it’s just hilarious.

Yes, I want to print up some of those cards. No one actually “writes” anymore though. Maybe there needs to be an email version.

Ahh, man! I love Brach’s candy corn, bought a big bag of it last week.

Apparently many people do!

That ‘hello there’ would be pretty good in a urinal.
