Easter is high atop the list of holidays I don’t celebrate, but I do love the yearly reemergence of Cadbury Creme Eggs. This image comes from an online game Cadbury launched this season (it needs to me aimed at my mouth).
Amazing:

Lovely little bunnies from Ron English:
I spotted this rabbit on speed in a grocery store (note the oddly placed block of cheese next to him. Did he steal it in an amphetamine rampage?):
Malaysian design studio 1000 Tentacles features projects including commercial illustration, prints, comics, character design, toy sculpture and 3D arts.
The portfolio is extensive, packed with awesome scenes and creative creatures.
Sometimes the kindness of strangers absolutely blows me away. I was given a lovely set of Ghost Girlbooks (plus an awesome pillow case I plan to photograph) by Tonya Hurley.
From a purely aesthetic point of view, these books are beautifully constructed. Absolutely gorgeous.
I’m away from the books at the moment…which is a shame, because images taken from the internet do not show that the silhouette of Ghost Girl is actually cut out and placed behind a clear frame like a portrait.
Even the inside of the books contain wonderful detail. These are every bit as much works of art as they are novels.
I’ll be immersed in thousands of pages of Behavioral, Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience for the next number of months, so my fiction reading will be very limited. But if anyone has already read the Ghost Girl trilogy, please comment and tell me about it.
Check out the trailer for Lovesick. I wish this were a full length feature!
Apparently, this painting is actually on the wall in a dentist office to “put patients’ minds at ease.”
I am not remotely at ease after looking at this (check out that portrait in the back!). Tonight I’ll probably have nightmares of my teeth falling out (or trying to seduce each other).
I’ve collected hundreds of vintage Valentine images, but I’m not currently in possession of the hard drive that houses them all. Here are a few that I recently saved to my desktop. Cutesy Valentines abound, so here are some that showcase the darker leanings of the holiday.
Welcome to the gun show…
Double pun action!
Let this be a lesson not to mix your puns:
Refusal is not advised…
Fiery sentiments…
Of Feline Bondage…
I don’t trust him…
Is she implying that she’s a piece of crap?
Submissive Cow looks like the sad, daytime talk show guest of the animal kingdom.
In other words…”eat me.”
If someone could kindly explain this creature to me…
And the award for most depressing Valentine ever goes to…SUICIDAL SKUNK! He has not one, but TWO ways to off himself, ready and waiting. You can tell by the look on his face that he’s not going to snap out of this so easily. It’s hardcore.
I find it hard to believe that I haven’t posted abandoned playground images before (doesn’t it just seem like something that would be a staple of this blog?). Here’s a little collection from English Russia.
Addict Elephant welcomes you…
Somewhere between a Teletubby…and your worst nightmare…
This beautiful statue serves as a fantastic reminder to take care of yourself and never end up in this hospital (which I’m guessing no one ever leaves).
This fuzzy soul eater is not the worst of them, but I feel he belongs here.
Yikes. No idea…
First thing in my head (no pun intended) upon seeing this? “Hey hey, we’re the Monkees…”
