Here are some selections I’ve run across without any credit to the artist. If you know who any of them may be, don’t hesitate to speak up!

Ah, scarecrows…a lovely autumn tradition. But Grimstich Factory doesn’t make your average scarecrows.
These faces tell stories…and often not very pleasant ones…but they sure have character!
They also have props and other assorted items to check out.

I have never done anything like this little garden in a pumpkin, but I’m quite intrigued by it.
Has anyone tried this technique? Have you seen other examples?

I could find very little info on Tony Lombardo, so I will simply share some seasonal selections from his blogger portfolio.

It was this sculpture, entitled “Blood Donor” that drew me into Labyrinth Creations:
But there is some unique Halloween fare in the collection, worth checking out.

It took a while, but I finally got on Pinterest. I won’t be uploading things from my archive of 60,000 images (way too overwhelming). It’s more of a personal thing containing items I haven’t collected elsewhere, which may grow slowly over time.

If you have suggestions for great boards involving dark art/illustration, oddities, antiques, vintage, monsters, Halloween, geekery, kitsch, photography or any of the countless things I post about, don’t hesitate to recommend them!
I suggest following my soul’s dear twin Carrie Filetti for amazing images.

Hostess With the Mostest has shown a new twist on traditional Halloween decor: black and blue, evil science.
I haven’t been to Home Goods yet (where many of these decorations come from), but put mad science into anything…and it’s pretty likely I’ll enjoy it.
How do you feel about unconventional colors and themes for Halloween? Do you keep it traditional or mix it up?
A couple more pics here.

It’s that time again!
I’ll be participating in the Cryptkeeper’s annual blog roundup of countdowns.
About 87% in my poll wanted a month long countdown, 10% wanted two weeks. So to be fair to everyone I will probably do the vast majority of posts with a Halloween theme and a small percentage of others…I think. We’ll see what strikes me.
I’m putting on my party dress (in my imagination) to celebrate.
In real non-imaginary life (with special guest):

And mommy’s little craft “helper:”

If you come across great links or images, please share! Halloween-ites must stick together.
