That’s right, folks! I really want to keep this blog going in the midst of my precarious health situation, so I thought I would give you wonderful readers a chance to contribute.

Got a project you’d like to share? A favorite artist? If you’ve been following this site and feel you would be a great guest writer, please send a sample post to shewalkssoftlyblog@gmail.com. You can format your email with words and images as you would format the actual post, or send an attachment.

If it fits the site, I will put it up, along with any links to your own blog or personal website (of course you will be given ample credit for your contribution). Kapow! Dana came across a great accessory line. Little Love Medical makes these great labels to ease the impact of that dreaded IV bag. Their theory is that “spending time in the hospital is difficult for patients, family and friends. Little Love Medical is here to make your stay as pleasant as possible by adding bursts of color and design to everyday hospital products.”

Off with her head! Vanité, The Maiden is a life-size Waxwork Mix Media sculpture. If you would like to get into the head of Sigrid Sarda, it may not be as easy as you would think. Her website states that she “constructs life-size human ﬁgures made of wax incorporating human remains in the tradition of the doll as a magical object. The ﬁgures become talismans, reliquaries housing human bones.” What do you say to that?

Malanie Rothschild sculpts with paint drips. How delicious are these? Why is it that children will eat paint chips, when it was nowhere near as appealing as her art. Mm, mm.
