Desktop goodies are building up way faster than I can comment on all of them (I tend to save at least 20 images a day, and have never attempted to get my digital collecting in check).

Forgotten Hearts: One of a Kind Fine Art Ball Jointed Dolls by AiiS Roman & Gamalier Bravo.
From the artist statement:
I thought faeries lived only in books until they appeared upon my life as vibrant luminous beings. This particular ones are those I call “Borrowers” Mischievous winged spirited water fairies. They love to raid houses when people are not around. They borrow shiny objects and don’t mean to be bad. Borrower fairies have bad memory and forget to give their findings back.
Last night I heard a noise that came from my mom’s antique trinket box.I finally saw them! I catch them playing with my dad’s old watch. I took a picture and they didn’t even noticed.

My dear friend Bettie sent me the link to Alana Corra’s work.
This doll is my favorite. It reminds me of instructional antique anatomical models.

Other odd sculptures, paintings and drawings can be found on her site as well…

There are not enough pictures on the Rucus Studio website. Scott Smith is responsible for some of the most interesting and well crafted Halloween props out there.

I just love this woman’s work so much…I feel a compulsion to post the majority of her projects as they emerge. Here are a few amazing spooky treats for the Halloween season.
Doesn’t she pack an incredible amount of character into her pieces?
The detail is incredible.

Let’s take a moment to focus on the kitschy, cutesy iconic marketing creations of Campbell’s.
Brace yourself…here they come…

The Campbell Kids have been selling Campbell’s Soup since 1904 when Grace Wiederseim Drayton, an illustrator and writer, added some sketches of children to her husband’s advertising layout for a Campbell’s condensed soup. The Campbell advertising agents loved the child appeal and choose Mrs. Wiederseim’s sketches as trademarks. –Source
I’m not sure what prompted Ms. Drayton to draw them as if they were hopped up on too much Adderall, but they certainly make an impression.
Yes, they are staring right into the recesses of your soul, burning a hole in your brain…
The dolls are equally terrifying, yet I’d kind of like to have one (or two). I will leave them staring at unsuspecting guests when I step out of the room.

I’m not sure if this gaping chasm counts as a “neckline.”

The single best, or maybe worst, job in the world.

Now, this is some food I could eat. Does anyone have a copy of this?

Keep in mind they use the word “enjoy” in the broadest possible sense.

This fellow is very open minded…

And let that be a reminder to stay open-minded about the amorous preferences of others.

Creepy, freakish dioramas and dolls. What fun!
**My daily request to send Good Thoughts, Positive Energy, Prayers, and ANY means of conveying support and healing to Dana is the biggest reward I can ask the Readership for at all times. THANK YOU! The Proxy Blogger**

**May I make a daily request for the Readership to send Good Thoughts, Positive Energy, Prayers, and any means of conveying support and healing to Dana. She is struggling with getting past impossible pain on an hourly basis. One can only hope doctors are able to find a way to rewire her nervous system. THANK YOU! The Proxy Blogger**
Dorote Zaukaite’s works are beautifully jointed and exquisitely posed. To me there is a faint hint of Hans Bellmer to her work, though you may disagree.

Today I’ll keep rolling with some more dolls, then switch things up for the weekend. Denise Bledsoe does some adorable creatures. When Dana showed these to me I was struck by the character and whim that comes across in her work. I was able to narrow down the following selections to share:
