Sue Teller
This woman is beyond awesome; a renegade in the stuffy old world of granny crafts, with more spunk and spirit than most people 1/4 her age. And it’s not just the fact that she seems perpetually hopped up on Mountain Dew. She’s a genuine badass.
I wish there were more videos, but alas, Mrs. Teller only came out with a couple of them.
(Thanks, Bettie!)

1) Mt. Dew should be sponsoring this woman. What great advertising she is providing!
2) Everyone I know who drinks Mt. Dew on the regular, without exception, is healthy and full of energy. Maybe there is something to it!

Wouldn’t it be funny if Mountain Dew was the answer to all our health woes?

I love this grandma. Her show was a cable-access craft show starring her, Sue Teller, that came out in 2007, as sly social media campaign by Mountain Dew and Ecopop.
I stopped drinking Mountain Dew in the 90’s. MD is such chemical toxic waste with so much caffeine that kids and college students had suffered heart attacks from drinking too much. With that said, is it any wonder poor Sue Teller died in 2008, a year into the show.

Fun. And it was sponsored and created by Mountain Dew as viral advertising… as in Dew your own adventure. Pretty clever and hilarious. Nice blog btw, just found it via your Living Book post.
