I’ve been a fan of Scott Musgrove for many years, but admittedly have paid more attention to his artwork than sculpture.
His latest piece, Walktopus, is a treat for those with a penchant for cephalopods. This fellow is my height (well, I can boast being an inch or two taller since I tower over the masses at a gargantuan 5’1″-5’2″).
And the 20″ version:
What a great candle holder for a quirky library like mine…

Quirky and exotic – I’d like one too 🙂
I love these!
It would make a marvelous
street light, wouldn’t it!
This is so spooky but I really want to run my fingers down those shapely tentacles…
Er, also I like the tiny octopuses at the bottom!
Hey Dana, have you come across Enid Twiglet yet? She does biology-inspired embroidery that I reckon would be right up your street. This recent octopus piece is pretty cool http://enidtwiglet.blogspot.co.nz/2013/04/finally-octopus.html
Truly madly deeply in love with this, need it most badly in my special spot!! You do lay by? Talent! X
Love these!
