I am a tremendous fan of vintage Beistle Halloween decorations, but they can be rather pricey on ebay (if you want originals).
For a more reasonable price range you can visit The Vintage Beistle Store and check out a bunch of reproductions.
Not exactly the same as the weathered old ones, but still…

Do you have a favorite iconic Halloween decoration? I’d love to do a post about reader favorites.

Love these! I have a few of the old originals. I’ll have to send you pictures. One is of a jointed 5 ft’ 70’s scarecrow in near mint condition. I found him at a yard sale hanging in a garage. The old lady used him one Halloween than forgot he was hanging there. Paid $1 for the treasure 🙂
How I long for the days when I can visit yard sales and flea markets again…
We had a bunch of these when I was a kid in the 70’s. I have no idea how old they were, but my mom kept them in the piano bench and hung them on the front windows. Unfortunately I don’t what happened to them.
Drat…it would be great if you still had them!
I do hope my sister has them. You should check out the post I just wrote about Halloween. It’s a tear jerker!

❤ My favorite things to collect…really enjoying your count down btw…
I’d love to see a pic of your collection!
I’ll snap some photo for you this weekend. I have originals and some nice reproductions. I have some excellent blow mold lamps as well. I used em all in a vintage Halloween decoration installation at MF Gallery last year.
Funny that today I was driving and planning my next blog post–Beistle! Sometimes you can find new mass produced copies of the 20’s designs at the “usual” places, but nothing as grand as the ones you posted here.
Some on the website are even more grand. I chose pretty simple ones.
I was really impressed with the reproductions. Its nice to see Beistle go back to its archive and revive old pieces with a new twist.
I’ve only seen the reproductions online. I wonder how they look in person.
Hey! I want a chariot pulled by a giant black cat to get around in!
It’s the only way to travel, really.
Reblogged this on Dancing with Fireflies.
Some occasions its a discomfort within the ass to go through what folks
wrote but this net website is extremely user friendly !
