Jezebel Charms has a wonderful collection of cuff bracelets. The subject matter is fantastic (for my personal taste anyway).
These make me wish my wrists weren’t too freakishly small for all standard bracelets.
A Sherlock Holmes inspired piece! Oh how I’d love to wear this!

There are also many literary quotes featuring classic authors. Great stuff! (Thanks for the link, Maya!)

I love the Ave Maria one. I’m still thinking what piece of music I’d especially want on mine. Perhaps Debussy’s “La Mer” or something mathematical and musical from J.S. Bach.
Indeed…there are a number of musical scores I would love on jewelry!
Oh dear. I think I’d stare at the Sherlock Holmes one for days on end, imaging Jeremy Brett (THE Sherlock Holmes) striding about the place.
And yes, Jeremy Brett is the ONLY Sherlock Holmes we’ll ever need thank you very much.
Echoing the Brett love. Accept no imitations.
Damn you and your freakishly small wrists!!!!!!!!
Hahaha…damn them indeed!
LOVE the skeleton ones but you already knew that ๐ My wrist are too small as well. Maybe we can request a child’s size.
Since they are handmade, it’s quite possible that they could be customized. ๐
These are so lovely. I would break my silver tone only rule for one of these. The prices are very reasonable too. I’d have to special order as I also suffer from child sized wrists – cuffs simply fall right off!
I used to have a silver tone rule as well, but now I’ve incorporated antique bronze and copper tones. It can be done!
I love when an accessory has more to say than “I’m pretty to look at.” Yay!
There seems to be a rather wide gap at the opening…the artist may be able to do smaller fittings for those who have fine wrist bones.
Me too. I make a lot of jewelry (though not professionally!) and I always try to give my projects a little something to say. ๐ You can see a few of my quirky things here: https://shewalkssoftly.com/2011/06/14/pre-etsy-private-blog-sale/
Masculine and virile, stainless steel jewelry (also known as inox jewelry) are
now getting intto the mainstream of men’s fashion in many
parts of the world. Some are gently curved and others are curved into the shape of
a U. Also, it does require that the piercer
to have special skills.
