The best thing about this photo is the utterly nonchalant New Yorker ascending the steps as if there is not a giant crashed automobile a few inches away from him. Perfect encapsulation of my fair city!
Yes, this is a real ad for a real product. Once upon a time this was un-ironic. Love the classy businessman demonstrating its use, and the text boasting its design by “a European artist.”

Check out this amazing fried chicken ad. Work that price tag on your hat Ms. Thing!

I have no idea what this title implies.

I could get into the biochemistry of it all, but the short answer to the following question is “because it’s AMAZING.”

When voices in one’s head become a bit much…

Aww…look at that adorable expression!

I love the isolated contrast of the figure in this illustration. One bright light moving through a dark, abandoned world…

Where’s the order form for this one? I want it on my coffee table.

Skull porn! (I’m frightened to see how many people reach this site searching for that term).

I’m sure folks nowadays would be quick to defame Tickle Tim with various unsavory comments.

Speaking of pickles, how about some romance?

Nothing says “love” like caricatured imprisonment.

Actually, this is a pretty nice sentiment (at least for a cynical romantic like me).

fucking brillant! I can’t decide which is my favourite…maybe the dancing pickle
Haha…yes, dancing pickles are sorely under appreciated so I wanted to give them some air time here. ๐
3rd from the top is Minnie Pearl. Comedian from the “He-Ha” t.v. show (late 60’s?). The price tag was her trademark. Yes, shows how old I am.
This is a proud moment for me. The folks who follow this blog are just awesome. ๐
What a coincidence, my buddy Lightnin’ Wells posted his version of The Dill Pickles Rag as his song of the month for this month. You can listen to it here:

Thanks for sharing these. They’re just wonderful!
Tim, thank you so much for posting that link!
