Origami Octopi

I never developed my origami skills to an advanced level, so I have a lot of respect for people who can manipulate paper in ways that paper is arguably not designed to go.

It’s delicate and tedious work to create this kind of fluidity with paper.

  1. I love origami. I have books on it. I have the pretty paper to create it. I’ve seen top origami designs. But I never ever imagined the kind of artwork that Joseph Wu has created. I can see where his sea creatures may have started out as a sheet of paper and been folded into form…. but I refuse to believe that the bust was created the same way. It looks just like a metal statue. Incredible!
