Halloween Countdown: Evil Science, Black and Blue Decor

Hostess With the Mostest has shown a new twist on traditional Halloween decor: black and blue, evil science.

I haven’t been to Home Goods yet (where many of these decorations come from), but put mad science into anything…and it’s pretty likely I’ll enjoy it.

How do you feel about unconventional colors and themes for Halloween? Do you keep it traditional or mix it up?

A couple more pics here.

  1. I usually go with traditional colors, with some shades of (my signature color) pink. But this gives me something to consider, thanks!

Oh wow…I’d LOVE to see pics of pink incorporated into Halloween decor (*glances at my pink and black striped stockings…*).

  2. If there was a splash of red then all my favorite colors would be well represented :)

Too bad we associated red white and blue so intensely with Independence Day. This means very little Halloween representation of those colors together…unless you want to give it a go!
