Second Chance Ceramics puts some of my favorite vintage images on mugs and other ceramic household items.
These first two are going on my wish list.
I love how there is usually a compatible image on the inside of the mugs.

Pip & Pop create spectacular miniature worlds of neon sugar and teeny trinkets.
They look like colorful alien civilizations expanding over barren terrain!
I may not be one for bright colors in general, but I wouldn’t mind touring these fictional worlds…and taking a few bites out of the sugary parts.
There are some interesting jewelry picks over at Moon Raven Designs.
Let’s start with a guillotine pendant:

And there are a variety of raven/crow/bird skulls to choose from. I’ve always wanted a raven skull pendant (not a real one…of course…but cast in metal is fine).

I came upon this poster gallery showcasing some works of Polish artist Franciszek Starowieyski.
He was one of the more prominent Polish artists of the post war era. He specialized in poster, drawing, painting, stage designing, and book illustration.

Fay Helfer has a series of pyrography hearts that are quite stunning.
She combines anatomy with wildlife so beautifully.
There are other characters waiting to greet you on her site as well…

…so take a look.
I just went through Mark James Porter’s entire blog to check out all of his sculptures (plus art and accompanying sketches).
I love his take on popular characters, such as the classic Alice in Wonderland favorites.
Look inside Humpty’s head. There’s knowledge in there!
Oh boy…I’ve found my new favorite cookie designer. Check out these personalized headstone cookies by American Cookie Craft.
There are edible homages to some of my favorite silent classics.
And the black cat that graces my wall (a shirt, and a pair of knee highs).
Wow. This is a truly incredible wedding display. These folks chose a Dark Circus theme and went all out with it.
I think it’s wonderful that this couple designed such a unique and visually stunning event.
The decorations, the lighting, the food and the clothing are all perfect for the idea.
No one involved in this wedding will ever forget the experience. See more pictures here.
This “Deady Boop” print from UC Studios caught my eye. Love this sculpture!
They have other prints as well…

Something about de-contextualizing an everyday object makes it quite interesting. These houses in the sky are the work of Laurent Chehere.
