I don’t often conduct long interviews on this blog (mostly due to my own health/typing constraints), but here are links to two substantial interviews with female artists who rank among my favorites.
When it comes to art, do you prefer to just look at images, or do enjoy reading interviews that probe the minds of the artist?

For the most part I like to look at art and read a brief statement about it and the artist. However, I do like access to more information should something truly appeal to me.
I’m kind of the same way. I only like in depth interviews with my very favorite artists.
Have you ever been to the AFA Gallery in NYC? You would love it!!

I’m so glad you got a chance to go! I was just there again for Pandora’s Box. The Paul Kasmin gallery had an amazing Mark Ryden exhibit also.
