Chocolate Fossils

I’ve been remiss in posting daily due to medical troubles that I’ll briefly detail here at a later date. In the meantime, if you’ve had enough Halloween fun sized candy bars and are ready to move onto something more…paleontological, check out Sarah Hardy’s chocolate tooth fossils!

I would love to stand this T-Rex tooth on my desk and gnaw at it periodically (and by periodically I mean probably finish the whole thing at once).

Oh yes, these are chocolate. Hand molded and painted (with more chocolate).

  1. Wow! I wonder why she chose chocolate as her medium though. These seem to be frickin’ museum quality chocolates!

I think the novelty of museum quality chocolates is definitely reason enough to undertake the venture. I always feel bad that incredible food sculptures won’t last forever though.

  2. You can see every crack and groove! Amazing stuff. The fact that it’s chocolate-painted chocolate is just the icing on the… chocolate. I’d love a life-sized sauropod of them. Should last me at least a couple of days!

Hey, I just came across the thread. I’m the Sarah that makes them and just want to say thanks for the mention!
