As some of you know, I’ve spent the past many years house/hospital bound due to illness. However, there exists within me a fiery spirit, dedicated the the journey of becoming healthy and whole. I find Alex Grey’s Journey of the Wounded Healer triptych rather comforting.

I had the honor of meeting Alex Grey and seeing these in person. Yes, they are massive!! I’m guessing 8ft by 20ft or so, although I’m terrible with estimating… The energy radiating off of them (and of course Mr Grey!) is incredible. I spent close to forever staring at the anatomy one, finding a new detail with every movement of my eyes. You definitely get lost in them in person. Absolutely beautiful work, as always.
