Also I’d no idea who the Lennon sisters were but I was imagining a black family like the Jacksons. Got that wrong!

Hah! Wonder if that was a Lawrence Welk Show performance–this band also calls to mind The Cowsills, and maybe Karen Carpenter. You’d be surprised how many of their “hits” are their versions of some standards commonly heard growing up in the 70’s.
