Michael Cheval
Michael Cheval’s surrealist paintings delve into absurd, inverted realities.
Stranger than dreamscapes, his worlds are full of life and sweeping motion, serene and languid faces.
Here he find the waking earthly laws of physics suspended. Metaphor…illusion…allusion…it all tempts the viewer to craft a story.

You find the loveliest works to ponder. I love Cheval. Thank you for your most excellent findings. 🙂

This teaches the unimaginative and feeds the imaginative. What strikes me first, even before the bizarreness invokes a dream within a dream about once upon a rip in time and space, I am impressed about the clarity, and the colors and shading are impeccable. There’s antiquated elegance, almost predominately renaissance, that warrants it to be colossal, in elaborate gilded frames, and propped on heaven bound walls throughout a grand manor worthy of awe and aspiration. With a good drink in hand, I’d have a fine time relaying storied ideas well into a night.
