When the time comes that you can be outdoors again, you’ll never feel the same. It’s as if poor health rewards you with an acute appreciation for that which you’ve been denied. Sometimes when I go outside on extremely cold, which I’d always hated, I just marvel in the realization that I now tolerate such a climate and that it’s really not that bad.

Oh if only more people would consider fresh air their drug of choice. It’s sad that it takes a catastrophic illness to gain such appreciation for these simple things.
