If these were actually real…I hope (well, know) my father would have gotten them for me when I was a child.

(Dad…look at Predator! How excellent is this?)

Would it be in bad taste to paste these over the covers of books I give to other peoples’ children? Just checking.

These are wonderful, I still treasure my Golden Books from the 50s. I just found your blog and it’s fascinating, thank you!

You should write these tales! You know plenty of artist friends who would love to help out!

Oh I soooo want these to be real (and yes: Dana you should definitely write them!). When you do, could I put in a request for ‘How the Alien Grew Up.’ You know, something along the lines of: ‘She loves people through and through. In fact she sometimes gets so excited that the love just bursts right out!’
This series could run and run…… 😉 -Nx

Oh, this is so cool. I wish I had these as a kid. The cat in the hat vs. the predator. My mother used to make me read a whole golden book every single day to her, and if I did it swimmingly, I got rewarded a whole container of Dannon blueberry yogurt to enjoy. In my kiddie hands it was like a gallon of creamy joy. Yeah, I know, but I had a thing for yogurt then you see….

Sweet blog! I found it while searching on Yahoo News.
Do you have any tips on how to get listed in Yahoo News?
I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there!
Many thanks
