  1. Sounds like it would be fun. I would go too if I could, I love galleries and you know I love most everything you do. Checking the website many of the works are extremely well done and the talent is definitely worthy of accolades. With that said I’ll be very honest now about the art/gallery industry.
I don’t like the mutated demonic goat head. As an animal lover I’m sick and tired of goats getting a bad rap for being evil, just as black cats and crows get. These animals are heartlessly killed because of the mythology the church contrived ages ago to scorn the pagan religion. It also seems some obnoxious artists are just producing asinine weird shit and asking unbelievable prices for what’s essentially glorified crap. When I was an apprentice learning how to make molds (this was before You Tube) I had met my share of these types. One piece in particular was a small slab of cement with 3 plastic doll heads bonded to it. This drug- induced jerk with an art masters degree wanted $5,000 and it was displayed in a NYC gallery. I’m an artist and I support the true artists out there, but too many people work too hard for a small unfair salary, especially the blue collar industry, and when I see a Mickey Mouse with a skull face holding a knife, or a sliced-off hand nailed to a cross and exploited as elite fine art, it irks the hell out of me. 99

  2. I have a display in this show. I cannot wait to see it all set up!

  3. Ahem – oh dear. Breaking my rule about replying only to the OP again to say: KEric, I absolutely agree with you!

However the CoproGallery does seem to be a home for some very talented artists, and I’ll be keeping an eye on their website from now on. So much amazing art I’d’ve missed if not for this wonderful blog! -Nx
