I’d love to try this sometime; a wire arrangement that results in a floating, ghostly display of lights and ornaments.

There is a demonstration of how it’s done here.

Have you ever done anything non-traditional with holidays decorations? (I sure have…stay tuned…)

  1. That ghost tree is plain way too cool. Always wanted to do a haunted Christmas theme. Guess you could save in buying presents since you can say the gift packages are really there under the tree, they’re just not tangible – but expect people to hate you for months on end. This very combination of Halloween and Christmas is why Dickens’s “A Christmas Carol” is one of my favorite books/movies ever. An idea that always tickled my fancy was do a Disney-adapted illusion technique of ghoulish Christmas carolers and other spooky whatnots. ~ http://www.ehow.com/how_4500368_create-ghost-illusion-haunted-house.html
