Vintage Michelin Man

We’ve all seen the Michelin Man…this happy go lucky character who looks like a sweet cross between the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and a mummy.

Well he wasn’t always so sweet. Let’s take a journey back in time, shall we?

Early 1900s:

  1. Holy crap, in the 1900’s he looked like something straight-out of cryptozoology. Definitely terrifying! I take it if the Pillsbury Dough Boy was gay (and who says he’s not) he’d be hot for the Michelin Man Odds are soon enough he’s going to receive a slimmer waist line, like how they’re slimming down cookie-munching Santa as a healthy role model for the kids.

  2. The 1900’s one is terrifying! They look like doctors in a new black plague.

  3. Wouldn’t want to meet that 1912 cigar-chomping ninja version on a dark night either [Shudder] -Nx
