“Ghostly Groans” reminds me of Werewolf. Everyone at the party sits around a table, and draws secret lots to see who the one referee and the two werewolves are. The rest are villagers. Each “night” turn everyone except the referee closes their eyes, and then the two werewolves decide who they’re going to eat (preferably without making too much noise), and point at that person. Each “day” turn the referee tells the villagers who got eaten, and then everyone left alive (including the secret werewolves) votes on who they’re going to lynch for being a werewolf. If the werewolves both get lynched while there are villagers left alive, the villagers win; if both werewolves get lynched, the villagers win.
(And crippling self-doubt isn’t a costume, it’s something people wear every day!)
