Balance Bookshelf

What the Balance Bookshelf lacks in practicality, it makes up for in concept.

I recently went through a period of years in which I read no fiction whatsoever. I had decided to change my entire path from working in the publishing industry to going for a PhD in psychophysiology and making a new life in the realm of mind-body medicine (my true passion). I positively binged on medical and theoretical texts…and loved every second. Only this year, after being rendered an immobile lump of useless human parts by intractable pain, did I re-embrace my first true love: literature.

  1. I find myself without much time to comment on your blog but I wanted you to know that I have been subscribed for several months now and that your blogs are always a comforting pick-me-up. I have loved your content from day one and recently, after seeing small mentions of what you are having to go through, I have been so incredibly inspired by your tenaciousness.

Thank you for finding the strength to keep doing what you do. It honestly makes it easier to face my day.
