I found a great collection of hyper-realistic vintage board game paintings by Tim Liddy.
These oil and enamel creations are impressive…taped edges and all.
The approximate dates are on the bottom of most…

I have that late 1940’s Cootie game! These are darned cool–more so that they are reasonably small sized works on copper, I see on the website.
Hahaha…of course you do! If I play that game with you, will I get cooties because you’re a boy? Word in the schoolyard is that boys have cooties.
You might. Probably the best damned cooties ever, but cooties none the less. :^)
These are PAINTINGS?! That’s amazing! I love the “Mystery Date” box cover – talk about a bygone era. It reminds me of the Sweet Valley High board game I have at home. I need to force someone to play it with me asap!
Yes, paintings! I didn’t have Sweet Valley High, but I think someone gave me “Girl Talk” as a gift. http://www.swankola.com/thrift/girltalk.jpg
I totally remember Girl Talk! Can you imagine being the models on that box cover? It was probably cool back in the day… Here’s the link to the Sweet Valley High board game on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Milton-Bradley-Sweet-Valley-High/dp/B000PDHXP2 I love the tagline: can you find your boyfriend in time for the big date? Yes, because that’s every young female’s first priority.
Paintings!!! WOW! If he were to do a vintage Hi Ho Cherry O, I might have to buy it! My childhood favorite:)
I didn’t have that one!
