Oh! I love the last one. If there was a monster who opened himself up as a bird house, I would have to own him. So lovely!
I like to think the monsters and the birds have some kind of symbiotic relationship. Maybe the birds help the monster keep his brain and insides tidy.
I can see why you would be drawn to them. They are so beautiful and ethereal with that touch of bizarre.
Ethereal is a great word for these (perhaps not in the traditional sense, but I would certainly describe them as such).
