Planetary Chocolates

Two of my favorite things, astronomy and chocolate, come together in this beautiful Planet Chocolate Set.

Although the chocolatier responsible for this delightful creation is Japanese, Geekosystem posted some comically translated closeups.

Has anyone come across a chocolate box like this in the US?

  1. Personally I think, Uranus should have been anise flavoured but then again, I have the sense of humour of a 12 y/o

    I miss Pluto!

  2. Those look awesome. I think it would be hard to eat them. But, on the other hand, I know if I tried to to display them my chocolate addiction would turn me to a black hole should I walk by. Well, it would be the tastiest galactic catastrophe ever. I always thought the Milky Way sounded delicious.

    • Oooh…maybe we could assemble a makeshift chocolate solar system and play BLACK HOLE APOCALYPSE by swallowing them up! Think of the POWER! We are destroyers of the universe! 🙂

    • Pluto is still a planet to me. I take issue with anything being discounted for its diminutive size or mass (*looks at own feet not touching the floor in this chair*).

    • Good point. That candy bar doesn’t even LOOK like Mars! Well, maybe the nuts and nougat resemble the planetary terrain slightly? Still…
