Here we have an item that appeals to me conceptually, though I would never actually incorporate it in my own home decor.

I feel mildly dizzy.
Conversely, I could get VERY accustomed to this book shelf. I’d like nothing more than to fill it up and make myself a nice little hideaway.

With a comfy chair, blankets and good lighting…I don’t think I’d ever come out.

Sorry to go all pythonesque there. It was my first reaction to your post.
I know how you feel – I’d live inside one of those too. “I have my books and my poetry to protect me.”
I can’t even TELL you how many of my problems one of those would solve.
OMG are those mat hatter shelves from a store?
where did you find them?
I found them online (I don’t actually own them, but perhaps they are available somewhere?).
The best way to finish that mad hatter shelf off, would be a table with a tea set on and fresh baked goods… It’s always tea time
So true, Ms. Maddie. ๐
