But I agree with the source. There’s a better story lurking out there.

I like it’s actual origin. Just another symbol of the totalitarian way in which our lives are becoming increasingly automated.
Yet, like skyscrapers, the Red Lobster, and Tower Records (RIP), there is beauty to it.
