Here’s a type of paper cut project I haven’t posted about before…wigs!
By no means functional, but interesting in the sculptural sense.
The wonderful Dudecraft brought my attention to these phenomenal book sculptures by Hokey Stokes.
Such intricate, beautiful work…
I would love to have one of these as an office decoration.
Crafty Pagan’s Etsy site is filled with vintage style tags, complete with faux aged appearance.
I love the “directions” on the bottom of this label.

Let’s start with a few old fashioned hairstyling devices…
You’re never too young to start paying a miserable price for beauty.
This enticing image was a recent Suicide Food entry:

Precursor to the gold mine of sports drinks:

Although it was technically on Cake Wrecks, I think this cake is pretty great:

And for some reason this piece appeals to me.

Party hat for the cephalopd inclined?

I would very much like to have this product by my bathtub:

Great new mandala designs by Shepard Fairey:

Don’t you feel better, now that the anatomy has been explained? (I think I found this on Monster Brains…not sure)

Halloween Countdown starts tomorrow so give me a hand with suggestions (*groooooan*)…

This image arrived in some spam email (yes, I actually got spam about paper sculptures from an unknown source with no image credits).
I don’t have an artist to credit, but I love it. Far superior to junk mail about my supposed inheritances from foreign princes and medications to magically grow sexual organs.
I love paper. I love things made of paper. Hard copy books, letters, postcards, origami…you name it.
Here’s a site for my fellow anachronistic lovers of pressed tree pulp: Telegram Stop.
Once upon a time, telegrams were the only means of transmitting written messages over distance without physically transporting letters. Most kids today will probably never even learn the history of telegraphy.

I just stumbled upon PressaRussa on Etsy. What an adorable (and sometimes mildly subversive) collection of letterpress creations.
Who could refuse an invitation like this? Love it…

PressaRussa
What a great idea for a greeting card and/or stationary…a happy devil, skating through a frozen hell.
This would be great to send to someone who has seemingly done the impossible.
I will definitely be keeping an eye on the Candyspotting Etsy store after seeing this (currently sold out) little collection of laser cut geeky love cards.
So well done!
There are other fantastic designs in the shop as well. See for yourself here.
