Due to illness, I’ve not been able to support the creative endeavors of my dear friends in a way I find satisfactory (re: overdone). Here are two short film projects; one ongoing comedy treat from Cinevore Studios, and an excellent kickstarter by Julia Baron.
Let’s start with Nerd vs Geek, a web series about the antics of roommates who clash over nerdiness and geekery…with some wildly unexpected scenarios in the mix.
LoveFail.com is a web series following a Brooklyn-based single 20-something female, Angie, who, reeling from a recent long-term relationship breakup, embarks upon the daunting, humorous, and awkward world of online dating. Each of the first season’s episodes features Angie on an increasingly disastrous date.
Support these fine folks…they are talented artists and amazing human beings.

I rarely post interviews, no less interviews that run an hour and a half long, which should test to the quality of this video here.
Stephen Colbert and Neil DeGrasse Tyson are both extraordinarily entertaining and gifted human beings. Putting them together makes for a comedic, informative alchemy unlike others I’ve seen.
My dear fellow geeks, do not miss this if you haven’t already seen it!

This rather horrifying chunk of stop motion surrealism was hidden in the recesses of my mind until my wonderful friend Casey reminded me of it (thanks, Casey!)…

Dana sent me the link to artist Joe Fenton’s website. While wondering just which works to share here, upon viewing this video my socks were blown off. I had my answer. Wow. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did. An extra Thank You comes from me to Dana for finding this!
**Your Proxy Blogger appreciates all the support shown for Dana while she is seemingly unable to show her presence. She does get to see the posts and comments. Thank you all so much for helping hold Dana’s hand through this. BVM.

The Maker is a short tale by Christopher Kezelos, with puppets designed and created by Amanda Louise Spayd. Watch this beautifully haunting story wherein The Maker takes on the most important creation of his life.

Today’s post is a video Dana sent me a couple of weeks back. For those of us close to the situation, it will bring a tear. Visually very well done. Lyrically, rather pertinent to Dana’s condition, of “fighting for her life” to get back to normal. As ever, Dana is searching, finding, and relaying whatever it is she relates to. How does this one affect you?
Oren Lavie – Her Morning Elegance (partial lyrics/chorus):
And she fights for her life
As she puts on her coat
And she fights for her life on the train
She looks at the rain
As it pours
And she fights for her life
As she goes in a store
Where the people are pleasently strange
And counting the change
And she goes…

Kittens On The Beat video has caught Dana’s eye. When tiny ninjas are rampant, the kittehs will protect!
The song is “Wildstyle” by Savant.
**May I make a daily request for the Readership to send Good Thoughts, Positive Energy, Prayers, and any means of conveying support and healing to Dana. She is struggling with getting past impossible pain on an hourly basis. One can only hope doctors are able to find a way to rewire her nervous system. THANK YOU! The Proxy Blogger**
