The Internet is a glorious tool, but some sites (I’m talking to you again, Tumblr and Pinterest) spread amazing images like the proverbial wildfire…without credit.
A Google image search on this still failed to turn up a creator, but I think it’s rather wonderful.
Does anyone know who made this?

I’ve been a fan of Scott Musgrove for many years, but admittedly have paid more attention to his artwork than sculpture.
His latest piece, Walktopus, is a treat for those with a penchant for cephalopods. This fellow is my height (well, I can boast being an inch or two taller since I tower over the masses at a gargantuan 5’1″-5’2″).

Donovan Design has come out with a series of wonderful steampunk lamps. As many of you know, I am loathe to use the term steampunk, but will always give credit where credit is due in terms of fine craftsmanship.
I can’t help liking certain aesthetics of the subculture I can’t entirely get behind. Story of my life, as a kaleidoscope of selected subcultural pieces!
I wouldn’t mind a few of these beauties gracing my home in various places (“wouldn’t mind” is quite an extreme understatement).

Here is another artist claiming “lowbrow” sculpture and artwork. Carl Turner AKA Biscuitboy rolls with Dr. Seuss as a major inspiration; and perhaps a tinge of Warner Brothers and Disney go into his wildlife sculptures. Some of the descriptions Turner gives for each of his creations are worth as much as the visual impact of the “trophies.”
