These are pretty great:
The Ninja Coat Hooks will transform your hallway into the scene of a Shanghai back street stand-off. Each metal Ninja Coat Hook has one corner cleverly engineered into a screw, which allows you to fix securely to your wall or door, whilst making it look like it has been hurled from the hands of a deadly Ninjitsu assassin.
Not sure if I believe the site’s claims that they are “completely coat friendly” (having personally torn fabric on far less weapon-like objects), but still…

Ork Posters, why must you taunt me with your designs? I’ve already posted about the company, and now…
I absolutely love the new brain map, yet still can’t get myself to throw down $18 plus shipping for a small print.

Although I’m reluctant to start Christmas posts already, but I love this ornament. It’s a refreshing change from the standard Santa Claus and angels.

This post is my ode to Dollar Tree. Specialty stores jack up the prices on Halloween novelties so you pay an exorbitant amount of money for simple plastic and paper.
But you don’t have to spend a lot. I got this assortment for under $20 (not to mention some other party supplies not pictured). Sorry about the bad lighting.
I actually forgot a couple of things, so I’ll have to go back. But you won’t hear me complaining.

Allow me a seasonal time warp for a moment. I’m sure it won’t be long until we start seeing Christmas artifacts appear on store shelves anyway. I recently came across a company that manufactures Pink Bunny Pajamas (just the way Aunt Clara made ’em!):

The site boasts that you can now “Give the gift of humiliation!”

The suit is available in plus sizes as well (though somehow I doubt the bucket of chicken is included).

And you can purchase a “Christmas Combo” which includes a Red Rider BB Gun.

Starting at about $110, I’m afraid I won’t be purchasing this tribute to my favorite holiday film of all time. But it’s definitely a product that needed to made.
Check it out here.
And if you need a reminder of where these come from…
I will now resume taking full advantage of pre-Halloween days to post spooky things.

I don’t have a tremendous need for door stops in my house, but this one would definitely be my choice:

You know, for that cozy “my house dropped on a wicked witch” feeling.

I’m usually not one to embrace bright colors in my attire or accessories (except in small splashes, here and there) but this Colour Chart Bag by Cristian Zuzunaga is a nice concept:

It would make a great gift for a graphic designer. If there were one in grayscale, I’d definitely consider buying one.

I’ve already referenced my personal habit of squeezing the toothpaste tube from the middle (which some of my family members continue to insist is my worst quality).
I’m a prime candidate for this concept design by Jee Young Choi:

Sorry, Dad…it’s still only a concept design. You’ll still have to glance at my mangled toothpaste tubes when I visit!

These socks (especially the notebook paper design) appeal to the old school geek in me.
They make me a bit nostalgic for the days when people still used paper and pencils all the time…even though I’m addicted to the computer.
