While I am completely in the spirit of Halloween already, I’d like to give an option or two for the less obsessed. I plan on doing a Halloween Countdown again this year. How long should it be?
Majority rules (though I may intersperse Halloween posts throughout the month if the shortest option wins). Thanks for your input!

I’m already anticipating this and it isn’t even Ocotber yet! But I’m slightly obsessed. I had to remove myself from Target’s Halloween section the other day for fear of my whole paycheck vanishing.
I say let the countdown begin!! The sooner, the better, as long as your health allows ๐
Oh, I’ll be blogging this season, even if it’s wordless at times! Thanks!
I’m glad your fingers are better ! Yay ! I really enjoy reading your thoughts. Tell me, what illness did you have?
Loooong story…not better yet…
Every day!! I love Halloween!
I’m confused, are you telling me that you haven’t already started the countdown as or last November 1st ?
I lived on a dead end (and somewhat dark) sertet in San Jose when I was a kid. There would be massive amounts of kids just a block away, but very few would venture down our sertet so my mom gave away to each kid: a full sized Hershey bar and a box of cracker jacks! We give out good (stuff like Snickers, not tootsie rolls) fun size candy (2-3 each though since we have very few trick or treaters) unless the kid is too old for trick or treating. Those kids get offered the yuck plate which has hard boiled eggs, squid tentacles, and clam bits.
Considering the flavor of your blog followers, none would be disappointed by Halloween to the max. Besides, I’m having a Halloween wedding this year and need all the inspiration I can get! Bring it on.
I think about Halloween 365 days a year and so a Month’s countdown is waaaay tooooo short!
The countdown should never end. There should be no beginning and no end. Halloween is everyday as far as I’m concerned, so the longer, the better ๐
I was just going to contact you to see if you wanted to be added to the Countdown to Halloween list this year. I love your blog, so as often as possible would be my answer.
Yes, please add me!
I love that you guys are practicing trick or triateng, I did that with the kids when they were younger too. I didn’t want them to be afraid when it came time for the real thing. They are already super excited and constantly changing their mind about costumes. I love Halloween with the kids! It’s just so magical and fun again
Reblogged this on drndark.
There are 12 Days of Christmas. 31 Days of Hallowe’en sounds fine to me.
Thanks for the feedback everyone!
LOL… I’m with the first poster up there, Kelly. I’m a bit of a Samhain freak myself. I’m gunna really start decorating my dwelling this weekend. ๐ So, Yes, Halloween please!
