I found Mark Hosford’s work on the Neatorama Art Blog the other day and had to share.

As a psychology AND art geek, I’m always pleased to see Rorschach ink blot inspired work. This series uses models of the actual ink blots as a backdrop. Hosford drew freely, directly over the shapes.

In another series, Hosford draws interpretations of personal or famous ghost stories. They are so detailed and imaginative, I think they’d inspire complete stories in the minds of people who don’t know the original references.
