It’s rare that I promote music on here, because if I’m always touting the musical endeavors of random people I might lose credibility. But my friend just linked me to his current band project, Motorcrashes and I have to say…I like it a lot!

It makes me so happy when fantastic people I know produce good stuff, because I can wholeheartedly stand behind the person and the project.

The first song on the demo is an awesome blend of gritty lo-fi rock with a hint of industrial sounds and a splash of shoegaze echo. The second is…something I’d place right next to some old Iggy Pop if I were to make a “Dancing in My Room While No One is Watching Mix.”

I should make that mix.
