Let’s get this straight: I am not a fan of rock opera’s or heiresses who “act.” Yet I’m beyond excited to see Repo! The Genetic Opera.
The music is described as “Industrial Punk Cabaret” and the list of participants is drool-worthy. Among my favorites: Ogre, Sarah Brightman, Joan Jett, Buckethead, David J., Daniel Ash, Melora Creager, Poe…(I could go on, but oh movie, you had me at “Ogre”).

An epidemic of organ failures devastates the planet. Panic erupts and scientists feverishly make plans for a massive organ harvest. haha, yea im super stoked for that too! i didn’t know it had the likes of buckethead and melora creager in there! certainly helps get the nasty paris hilton taste out of your mouth, haha. and im with you on rock operas in general, im one of the few oddballs who can’t stand the rocky horror picture show but this looks pretty rad \m/
FUCK YEAH! That looks awesome (minus the fact that Paris Hilton is in it). They should have thrown in Amy Lee from Evanescence to play a part. And I’m surprised the Dresden Dolls didn’t make the musical credits either. No one is more “punk cabaret” than them. All in all, should be interesting to see.
