I’d likely pass out if I received this.
Warning: extreme geekery ahead!

I am crazy about all of Hine Mizushima’s work. She creates some of the best, most imaginative needle felted projects out there in the craft universe. My new favorites…these lab specimens:

I rarely post interviews, no less interviews that run an hour and a half long, which should test to the quality of this video here.
Stephen Colbert and Neil DeGrasse Tyson are both extraordinarily entertaining and gifted human beings. Putting them together makes for a comedic, informative alchemy unlike others I’ve seen.
My dear fellow geeks, do not miss this if you haven’t already seen it!

What to post, what to post? Chuck Hodi’s subjects are so varied, though within a dark, and by his own admission, lowbrow realm.
**Your Proxy Blogger appreciates all the support shown for Dana while she is seemingly unable to show her presence. She does get to see the posts and comments. Thank you all so much for helping hold Dana’s hand through this. BVM.

Kapow! Dana came across a great accessory line. Little Love Medical makes these great labels to ease the impact of that dreaded IV bag. Their theory is that “spending time in the hospital is difficult for patients, family and friends. Little Love Medical is here to make your stay as pleasant as possible by adding bursts of color and design to everyday hospital products.”
**Please, dear readers, send Good Thoughts, Positive Energy, Prayers, and ANY means of conveying support and healing to Dana. THANK YOU! The Proxy Blogger**

Looking back at these posters from 40-50 years ago, it is difficult to fathom the possible demise of books for the masses. How cool would it have been to live back just that short time ago?
**My daily request to send Good Thoughts, Positive Energy, Prayers, and ANY means of conveying support and healing to Dana is the biggest reward I can ask the Readership for at all times. THANK YOU! The Proxy Blogger**

I am just floored by the custom water globes by Camryn Forrest Designs. Look at the details on these! The names–the concepts. Well done!
**May I make a daily request for the Readership to send Good Thoughts, Positive Energy, Prayers, and any means of conveying support and healing to Dana. She is struggling with getting past impossible pain on an hourly basis. One can only hope doctors are able to find a way to rewire her nervous system. THANK YOU! The Proxy Blogger**

Despite the hiatus, Dana has expressed a couple of items for her wish list.
Beaker Cookie Cutters will no doubt give her hours of delight after recovery:
They may be found here, but are out of stock. Where else might they be found?
Next on the list is a bookish jewelry chest. Personally this humble ghost writer would prefer the literary choices run to more macabre tastes:
Find this treasure here.
