Grand…mother Clock?
I wish I knew more about this photo.
Antique clocks have such charm, and some truly unique ones do exist (though for all I know, this one could be a recent sculpture project). If anyone knows the origin of this clock, or has photos/suggestions for other interesting ones, please let me know!

What a great clock! It is in a museum in Helsinki, so perhaps is Finnish in origin. Beautiful work–The Finns are so unique.

“Grandmother Clock” is a term actually applied to the “grandfather” style clock; however the grandmother clock is under 6 feet tall and typically slighter in mass and proportions.

I figured it would be a useful term for exactly that.
