Snow White’s Heart in a Box
This lovely project was part of an online craft swamp. The request? “Snow White’s heart in a box.”
In the Wicked Forest Matchbox swap, my second partner wanted Snow White’s heart in a box. In the story, the evil queen orders a huntsman to take Snow White deep into the forest, murder her and bring her heart back to the queen. He can’t bring himself to do it and kills a doe instead and presents the queen with the deer’s heart in a beautiful box.
Look at that heart and interior detail! All in a matchbox! Great job, Cackle.

What a great idea!
What very few people realize, I speak from much personal experience, is that it’s a far more gentle act to have ones heart placed into a box than to have it outright broken.

Very well said. I wish I could keep my heart in a box sometimes.

Isn’t it? I’d love to have this little piece on my shelf.
