Magnolia Hall: Lamps

Sometimes I just have to swoon over things I cannot afford on a grad student budget. Case in point: Magnolia Hall.

I can’t even venture back into the fireplace section of the site (it’s all just…too stunningly painful). So let’s just look at some lamps, shall we?

Gorgeous (dare I say luscious?) Victorian style lamps and lamp fixtures…

What an amazing accent in a study, library, den, or what have you.

Pink and black, ooh-la-la!

See more here (this post will get an “antiques” tag even though these are only reproductions because these items have such an antique feel).

  1. I should have known you’d have a thing for lamps as I do too! Both waiting for grad school to finish so we can enjoy such beautiful pieces in our homes :)

  2. A scrumptious feast for the eye! I think luscious certainly is the word!

There is so much eye candy on the site…I can hardly bear to look (*she says as she goes back to the site for another peek*).

  3. Oh my, you’re a victorian lampshade admirer too? LOL… I was just looking at lamps like these recently. This particular one I fell in love with. I love the shade and the base(It’s got that ancient Egypt vibe going). I would *love* to wake up one morning and find it in my living room. *sigh* http://www.etsy.com/listing/70310655/antique-floor-lamp-shade-arts-crafts?ref=sr_gallery_12&ga_search_query=art+nouveau+lamp&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=ZZ&ga_min=0&ga_max=0&ga_search_type=handmade

Of course I am! Have I been able to afford any recently? Absolutely not! :-) I just lost my breath when I looked at the link you sent. WOW. I think I either posted about that seller, or the shop is in my queue (which has sadly become a black hole with hundreds of links!). You’ve got stellar taste, Colleen. ;-)
