Children of the 80′s (like me) will most likely get a pang of nostalgia when looking at Andy Denzler’s paintings. They resemble the still frames on a TV screen when one pauses a VHS tape.

  2. It was always a bit spooky when the VHS tapes did this, making the images look like the work above. How spooky to have a piece hanging forever frozen on a wall.

      I agree. I watched a lot of horror and sci-fi growing up and the paused images were, at times, more haunting than what was taking place in the film.
