Can you believe this is one of Sharon Moody’s trompe l’oiel paintings? She has done a number of comic book pieces.
But she has many other extremely well done photorealistic paintings in her collection as well.

That’s crazy! It must be so surreal to see comic books stuck on the wall with their pages wafting in the breeze like that. Nice to see that still life can actually make me smile!

Yep, still life can be terribly tedious and boring, but when it’s done right…wow! I just want to reach out and touch these things!
