Pinky Toast

I’m getting a little nostalgic for autumn and Halloween treats. I know it’s out of season, but I came across some cute little pumpkin characters by Pinky Toast.

Pinky Toast also creates many whimsical little doll-like girls, sometimes with a dash of humor or darkness. She describes them as “peppered with pinks, sour pouts, big eyes, raindrops, baby doll dresses, twins, moon balloons, and flying bananas.”

These illustrations are so inspiring! I love the colors and the attention to detail.

I like her color schemes as well. She doesn’t go with a lot of the muted colors used in stadard “autumn” themed art…and it works!

  5. These are twisted with a dash of sugar & spice. So cute. I think this is how most of my friends see me :)

You have no idea how much I was thinking of you when I looked through her work. There are many pictures of twins and sisters in the mix!

  6. She’s vomiting love! That’s so… endearing?

    • shewalkssoftly Says:

You have to REALLY love someone to projectile vomit hearts at them. I think I’m going to use that image if I ever send Valentines.

  7. Such an amusing blend of cutness with creepyness!

  8. Awww, these are adorable.

So glad you like! And I must say, I have utmost respect for any woman with a year-round Halloween blog! Great stuff. :-)

  9. YES: Every year, starting around this time, I start daydreaming about Halloween more than ever. (Basically, for me Easter is the holiday that means it’s time to start pining for fall…)
Once again, we are on the same wavelength, my friend!

I actually thought of you when I wrote this post, K.O., because I know you’re right there with me on the halfway-there Halloween longings!
