Paul Cocksedge: Bourrasque

What a beautiful installation by Paul Cocksedge:

200 sheets of electrically conducive material, each hand sculpted, appear to flutter through the air as if freed by a giant gust of wind.

This installation was constructed in the courtyard of a Lyon hotel for the annual Fête des Lumières (festival of lights).

  1. That’s amazing. In the source it’s described as a 25 metre sculpture, but it’s really hard to think of it like that.

      Yes, I tend to love large scale lighting projects. Not sure why. Every time I see one I want to do some kind of light installation in my own back yard.
